The 4K wave has now reached Insignia TVs.
4K Ultra HD Insignia Roku TVs are available to order today on BestBuy.com and will be in stores early next month.
“Best Buy is the destination for all the latest in TV technology,” said Luke Motschenbacher, Best Buy’s vice president for televisions. “With the new 4K Ultra HD Insignia Roku TVs, the 4K experience is now available to more of our customers than ever.”
The TVs feature the award-winning Roku operating system (Roku OS), which provides a simple smart TV experience with a personalized home screen and access to more than 3,000 streaming channels in the United States. That also includes more than 10 streaming channels that offer 4K Ultra HD content.
Ultra HD is four times sharper than HDTV. It’s simple – HDTV has two million pixels, and 4K has eight million. A 4K Ultra HD TV’s picture is sharper, its colors more vibrant, and you can sit closer to the screen. More and more 4K content is becoming available, too.

The new 4K Ultra HD Insignia TVs also come with features to help find great 4K content. For example, the 4K Spotlight Channel offers instant access to a curated selection of 4K entertainment from a variety of streaming services in one place. That allows users to discover 4K content with just a few clicks of the remote.
The TVs can be controlled with the simple and intuitive remote control or through the free Roku Mobile App for iOS and Android. The Roku Mobile App can quickly access features such as voice search and Play On Roku, a feature that enables consumers to share personal content directly from a mobile device to the Roku TV.
