Asheesh Saksena is the president of Best Buy Health for Best Buy Co. Inc. In this role, he leads the company’s efforts to refine and implement our health strategy, with particular focus on ways to use technology and our in-home capabilities to help seniors live independently in their homes and provide peace of mind to the millions of people caring for aging relatives.
Mr. Saksena leads the incubation, strategy and corporate development teams focused on health initiatives at Best Buy. That includes GreatCall, a leading provider of connected health and personal emergency response services to the aging population, which Best Buy acquired in October 2018.
A highly strategic leader with more than 20 years of experience in creating and leading strategic growth, Mr. Saksena joined Best Buy in June 2016 as head of the Strategic Growth Office. He previously served as the executive vice president of strategy and new business development at Cox Communications, one of the nation’s leading cable television providers. Prior to that, he was the deputy chief strategy officer for Time Warner Cable. He has also held leadership roles at Accenture and Tata Group.
Mr. Saksena holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from BITS Pilani (India) and an MBA from the University of Delhi.
