Asheesh Saksena is president of Best Buy Health for Best Buy Co. Inc. In this role, he is responsible for the company’s efforts to refine and implement our health strategy, with particular focus on ways to use technology and our in-home capabilities to help seniors live independently in their homes and provide peace of mind to the millions of people caring for aging relatives.
Asheesh’s oversight of Best Buy Health includes GreatCall, a leading provider of connected health and personal emergency response services to the aging population, which Best Buy acquired in 2018. He also leads the incubation, strategy and corporate development teams focused on scaling health initiatives at Best Buy.
A highly strategic leader with more than 20 years of experience in creating and leading strategic growth, Asheesh joined Best Buy in 2016 as chief strategic growth officer. Under his leadership, the company developed a range of growth initiatives, including the In-Home Consultation program and Best Buy Health.
Prior to Best Buy, Asheesh served as the executive vice president of strategy and new business development at Cox Communications, one of the nation’s leading cable television providers. He has also held leadership roles at Time Warner Cable, Accenture and Tata Group.
Asheesh holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from BITS Pilani (India) and an MBA from the University of Delhi.
