Guitar Hero is back with Guitar Hero Live and now you can become a rock star and try out the new game at Best Buy stores.
Between 6 and 9 p.m. Tuesday, come out and play the game at Best Buy Theatre in New York.
Then from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, head on out to the Union Square Best Buy store in New York City or the Torrance, California store near Los Angeles and get hands-on with the completely re-imagined game that now features live action, first-person gameplay with truly reactive crowds.
Guitar Hero Live delivers the full emotional roller coaster of being on stage and performing in a real band, in front of real crowds who react to just how well — or how poorly — you perform.
Then, with GHTV, the world’s first playable live music video network, fans can play along to an always-on continually updated collection of official music videos across a wide variety of genres from new releases to favorite hits. They can also play with their friends in the same room and against players from around the world to see who has the highest score on a given song.
As for what songs you’ll rock out to, there’ll be hundreds of tracks from a diverse array of artists – from The Black Keys to The Killers to Skrillex and Ed Sheeran.
Both GH Live and GHTV are fully playable on gaming consoles as well as tablets and mobile phones.
The game will be available in the fall.
