Each designer’s collection includes smartphone, tablet and laptop cases with styles and designs available only at Best Buy.
This is not Best Buy’s first trip down the runway. A new line of kate spade new york accessories became available as a Best Buy exclusive just a few weeks ago. The complete collection was created for women who want their devices to express their very personal fashion sensibilities, something nearly half of all women say they are looking to do, according to the leading industry association CEA.
Isaac Mizrahi, who has appeared on everything from Lifetime’s “Project Runway” to Bravo’s “The Fashion Show”, will bring his fabulous Isaac Mizrahi New York line to Best Buy shelves on Oct. 5. His collection was designed in his iconic prints: polka dots, stripes and exploded florals mixed with vibrant hues of fuchsia, lavender and gold.
To create the Anna Sui and Nanette Lepore collections, Best Buy partnered with the crème-de-la-crème of the fashion industry: the Council of Fashion Designers of America, a not-for-profit trade organization. In fact, Anna Sui and Nanette Lepore’s proceeds from the sales of their tech accessories sold at Best Buy will benefit the CFDA, which supports professional development, scholarships and numerous educational initiatives within the fashion industry.
We know what you’re thinking: such fashionable accessories are going to cost way too much, right? Not so – all accessories are under $50. Smartphone cases are $29.99, tablet cases range from $34.99 to $39.99 and laptop cases are just $39.99.
Smartphone cases are available for iPhone 5 and 5s and Samsung Galaxy S 5; tablet cases are available for iPad Air and iPad Mini; laptop cases are available for 13-inch devices.
