Best Buy Chairman and CEO Hubert Joly signed on to a letter Monday with more than 100 business and industry leaders continuing the company’s support for “Dreamers.” They’re the approximately 800,000 undocumented young adults who are allowed to live and work in the United States under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
The letter calls for Congress “to act immediately and pass a bipartisan, permanent legislative solution to enable Dreamers who are currently living, working and contributing to our communities to continue doing so.”
It was organized by the Coalition for the American Dream, a group of business and industry leaders. Best Buy is a founding member of the coalition.
Hubert previously signed on to two similar letters from the coalition to Congress in 2017.
