Brian Tilzer is the chief digital, analytics and technology officer for Best Buy Co. Inc., responsible for leading the company’s product management, experience design, data, AI, engineering and platform teams. He also oversees Best Buy India in Bangalore.
Brian and his teams are focused on leveraging technology, data and AI to engage customers, elevate multichannel experiences, create operational efficiencies and scale new growth platforms. He is a proven strategic and customer-focused business leader and technologist and an expert in digital transformation, leading efforts at Best Buy publicly recognized by Fortune, Fast Company, and Forrester Research.
Prior to joining Best Buy in 2018, Brian held roles including the first chief digital officer at CVS Health and senior vice president of e-commerce for Staples. Before that, he held leadership roles with Accenture’s retail and consumer practice, including serving Best Buy with several growth and performance improvement programs.
He serves on the board of directors for Signet Jewelers and the Minnesota Orchestra.
Brian received his bachelor’s degree from Tufts University and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
