Best Buy is proud to rank No. 11 on the HBCU Connect’s list of the Top 50 Employers for HBCU Students and Graduates.
The list consists of reputable employers who were chosen based on excellent recruitment efforts from more than 100 of the country’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) schools.
Over the past year, Best Buy has held numerous on-campus hiring events and has used a variety of marketing channels, including email, online and print advertising, to recruit students and recent grads for internships and post-graduation opportunities.
“It’s been exciting to see Best Buy investing in diversity and inclusion initiatives with a strategic focus on HBCU schools,” said Lindsay Harris, senior university diversity recruiter for Best Buy. “Our on-campus events have given students the opportunity to meet with Best Buy face to face, hear our stories and witness our passion for the brand.”
Best Buy’s continued HBCU recruitment efforts are part of our commitment to fostering an inclusive culture where all backgrounds are valued.
HBCU Connect is a networking site connected to the Historically Black Colleges and Universities. It focuses on providing career, educational and networking opportunities.
