Best Buy ‘spokeshologram’ to help kick off football season with NBCUniversal

Fall football is back — and Best Buy and NBCUniversal are teaming up to help fans take their game day to the next level with two new custom ad spots. The fun starts tonight before kickoff when Best Buy’s new spokeshologram, Gram, joins NBC Sports’ Mike Tirico to help him get ready for the game and make sure he’s got everything he needs for the big night.

Throughout September, Best Buy will showcase all the ways our expansive assortment of tech can help football fans get ready to cheer on their favorite teams and celebrate their biggest wins from their home. Whether that’s with an air fryer, pizza oven or an extra-large TV — yes, Best Buy sells that.

The sponsorship with NBCUniversal includes exclusive ad spots that will air across NBC and Peacock, created in partnership with Best Buy’s marketing teams and NBCUniversal’s Marketing and Brand Partnerships team, as well as in-game placements. In addition to Tirico, football fans will also spot Gram making appearances alongside NBC Sports’ Football Night in America hosts, Maria Taylor and Chris Simms.
