Mark Irvin

Mark Irvin is the executive vice president and chief supply chain officer for Best Buy Co. Inc., overseeing the strategy and operations of the company’s global supply chain network. This includes responsibility for all distribution centers, order management, domestic and international transportation, global compliance and trade, final-mile fulfillment and reverse logistics operations.

Under Mark’s leadership, the supply chain team is focused on getting the right products to customers, when and where they expect them, no matter how they choose to shop.

Mark joined Best Buy in 2013 as senior director of distribution and fulfillment operations and has held a variety of leadership positions within the company. Most recently, he served as Best Buy’s chief inclusion and talent officer.

Mark has more than 30 years of supply chain leadership experience. Prior to joining Best Buy, he held a variety of supply chain leadership roles at Target, Cummins Inc., Corporate Express Delivery Systems and Baxter Healthcare.

He has always had a passion for people and developing leaders, dating back to his time as a captain in the U.S. Army. He was commissioned through the ROTC program at Vanderbilt University and served in the U.S. Armed Forces for eight years in field medical logistics.

Mark has a bachelor’s degree from Fisk University in Nashville and a Master of Business Administration from Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio. He serves on the board of the Best Buy Foundation.
