In March, we announced the launch of Lively Mobile2, a medical alert device offering unparalleled safety and independence. It offers the same best-in-class response and assistance at the touch of a button, but with a smaller, sleeker, and more subtle design.

MINNEAPOLIS AND BOSTON (Nov. 8, 2023) — Best Buy Health and Mass General Brigham are collaborating to support a new model of healthcare delivery that serves patients where they want to be — at home. Together, they will develop solutions to support the transformational movement of shifting healthcare to patients’ homes by improving how quality and safe care are provided with technology and clinical expertise. Their first priority is to scale and support Mass General Brigham’s Home Hospital. This technology-enabled clinical delivery model will expand access to Massachusetts residents choosing to receive acute-level hospital care in the comfort of their home.

 Initial program with Best Buy’s Geek Squad resulted in quicker access to care, better adherence and more positive outcomes for chronic care patients

MINNEAPOLIS and DANVILLE, Pa. (Sept. 12, 2023) – Building on the success of delivering in-home care for patients with chronic conditions through Geek Squad, Best Buy Health and Geisinger announced today that they will expand their work together to bring a better level of care to more patients within the Geisinger network.

Geisinger launched its ConnectedCare365 chronic care management platform in 2021 and has since enrolled more than 1,100 patients in remote patient monitoring programs for chronic conditions like congestive heart failure (CHF), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), hypertension, and diabetes.

20 Jul: Best Buy expands offering for customers with hearing loss

Best Buy is expanding its existing hearing device experience, making it more convenient than ever for the millions of Americans with mild to moderate hearing loss to get the products and support they need. An additional 200 stores will have the in-store hearing experience this summer, with an additional 100 added in the fall, bringing the total number of stores carrying hearing devices to over 600. We’re also adding a selection of new hearing aid sets in store and online, expanding the number of brands we offer our customers overall.

Last year, we launched our new Lively brand, which offers solutions to support adults who want to age independently at home, whether that be through our Jitterbug phones, our medical alert devices, our health & safety services or our offerings through Amazon Alexa and Apple Watch.

Best Buy Health is making it easier to live safely and independently in your home with the availability to access Lively Urgent Response through compatible Alexa-enabled devices. This new capability provides users 24/7 support from a caring Lively Urgent Response Agent.

Starting now, customers can link their Lively and Alexa accounts together, giving them access to the Lively Urgent Response services with a simple voice command. Lively Urgent Response can be reached on a number of Alexa-enabled devices in the home, including Echo, Echo Show, Echo Dot, Fire TV Cube and Fire Tablet (when Show Mode is enabled).
