10 Jul: Coming Sunday: GoPro Hero4 Session Lands in Best Buy Stores

If you thought the GoPro Hero4 was convenient, wait until you check out the Hero4 Session, available this Sunday at all Best Buy stores and on bestbuy.com.

The Hero4 Session is the smallest GoPro yet. In fact, it’s 50 percent smaller and 40 percent lighter than the rest of the Hero4 series. It’s not only easily mountable; it’s easily wearable, and, waterproof (up to 33 feet) without any extra casing.

It’s also easy to accessorize. Best Buy will have 13 accessories for the Hero4 Session at launch, including those all-important mounts.

10 Jul: Best Buy Included in Prestigious FTSE4Good Index

Best Buy made the prestigious FTSE4Good Index for the second year in a row.

The index includes publicly traded companies with strong environmental, social and governance practices. FTSE4Good Indices are utilized by socially responsible investors and other stakeholders to measure sustainability performance. Best Buy received the highest possible score in the environment category, on the heels of announcing that we exceeded our 20 by 20 carbon reduction goal.

Best Buy commissioned the study with Wakefield Research to dive deeper into the world of today’s brides and grooms, following the launch earlier this year of Best Buy’s very own wedding registry.

If you’re looking to sharpen your photography skills, then head to a Best Buy Camera Experience Shop near you for some professional training.

Aspiring photographers can attend a free workshop, taught by a local expert, from 10 a.m. to noon this Sunday at more than 60 locations across the United States. Another session will be held on July 26.

Professional photographers will teach techniques for taking action shots, portraits, low-light photos and close-ups. Attendees will receive expert feedback and advice, and be able to try out lenses and accessories.
