Best Buy is honored to be named ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year for the 11^th consecutive year. This award reflects our ongoing commitment to helping our customers save energy and live more sustainably.

Each year, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency highlights organizations that have demonstrated exemplary commitments to promoting energy-efficient products and the ENERGY STAR program. This award represents one of many ways that we are working to protect the environment, which includes promoting the use of ENERGY STAR certified products to help our customers reduce energy consumption.

20 Apr: Best Buy Named ENERGY STAR Partner Of The Year For 8th Year In A Row

For the eighth consecutive year, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has named Best Buy as an ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year.

We’ve also received the distinction of Sustained Excellence for being awarded Partner of the Year for more than two straight years. The Sustained Excellence award is the highest honor from the ENERGY STAR program.

We are proud of this recognition and the work we do every day to help our customers save energy. That includes our commitment to help our customers reduce their own carbon emissions 20% by 2030 through the use of ENERGY STAR certified products, saving more than $5 billion on their energy bills.

What does it mean when you see the ENERGY STAR® logo on a product? The little blue sticker means the item meets the highest standards of energy efficiency, set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

At Best Buy, we like this logo because it helps us identify sustainable products for our customers, helping them save energy and money on their utility bills.

Because of our dedication to educating customers and offering a wide variety of ENERGY STAR certified products, the EPA has named Best Buy a Retail Partner of the Year for the fifth year in a row.

Best Buy Blue Shirt Jose Florentino is an expert at finding ways to help our customers use new appliances to save money and energy. He is one of the many reasons why this week we were named an ENERGY STAR^® Partner of the Year for the third time and earned the distinction of Sustained Excellence by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

An appliance expert at our Millenia Mall store in Orlando, Fla., Jose is a problem solver. When customers come in to look at products, he quizzes them about what they need and want.
