We are proud to again be named to Forbes America’s Best Large Employers list, ranking among the top 10 companies in retail.
This list reflects the views of employees across America — both their likeliness to recommend their employer as well as perceptions of other employers. We jumped to No. 106 on this year’s list, up from No. 398 a year ago.
At Best Buy, we are dedicated to attracting and retaining the best employees. These are the areas in which we focus:
- Inclusion and diversity – We believe in maintaining a supportive and inclusive culture that values everyone’s talents, life experiences and backgrounds. In 2020, we committed to making systemic, permanent changes that address social injustices to improve our company and our communities.
- Employee learning and development – Investing in our employees’ learning and development is a top priority for Best Buy. Our learning and development experience combines instructor-led classes and interactive online modules, along with one-on-one mentoring and coaching.
- Employee benefits – We are committed to taking care of our employees and rewarding them for their hard work and dedication through a competitive rewards package of pay, benefits, discounts and opportunities. Our benefits package focuses on total employee well-being: physical, mental, financial and social.
About the list
Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista to compile the list by surveying 38,000 Americans working for businesses with at least 1,000 employees. Respondents were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their company to friends and family as well as nominate other companies.
We were also recently named to Fortune’s list of the World’s Most Admired Companies.
