We’re excited to announce that Best Buy today was named to Forbes magazine’s list of the World’s Best Employers.
We were selected based on employee survey results, helping us gain a spot among 750 companies from across the globe. It’s the second time Best Buy has received this recognition.
Forbes surveyed 150,000 workers in 58 countries to create the list. Participants were asked to rate their own employer, as well as others in their industry. The survey considered every aspect of an employee’s experience, such as working conditions, salary, diversity and potential for growth.
Our purpose of enriching lives through technology has made our brand well known around the globe and continues to make an impact on millions of customers. Best Buy is made up of about 100,000 employees who serve customers in stores, online and in homes. Our goal is to be one of the best companies to work for in the United States, and today’s recognition affirms our progress.
This announcement is the latest in several recent honors for Best Buy, including Fast Company’s list of the 100 Best Workplaces for Innovators and Forbes’ list of America’s Best Employers for Women. We also earned a perfect score of 100% on the Disability Equality Index (DEI), ranking as one of the Best Places to Work for Disability Inclusion for the seventh year in a row.
