It’s official: a new season of Fortnite kicks off today, and Best Buy is opening a virtual store for gamers. Through Drive City, one of Fortnite’s open-world roleplay experiences, players can visit a Best Buy store, explore different departments and take on a special Best Buy quest.
Inside the store, players can unlock exclusive in-game gear, play mini-games and earn XP.
Exclusive Best Buy experience
As the new Fortnite season begins, players can find in-game experiences and mini games to level up their game even more. To complete the Best Buy quest, players can:
- Search the Drive City map for collectible Best Buy Tags and bring them back to the Best Buy employee at the store.
- Return 10 Best Buy Tags to earn a Best Buy Back Bling plus in-game currency and XP.
- Return 20 Best Buy Tags and earn the Best Buy Grappler, which stays with you across play sessions.
The store also features a photo booth that helps players locate nearby collectibles, a Geek Squad area and a boom box that lets players control the music while they shop.
