Highlights from our FY26 Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Report

We’re excited to share our FY26 Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Report, highlighting how we’re delivering exceptional experiences for our customers, building a vibrant culture for employees, supporting our environment and strengthening the communities where we live and work.

At Best Buy, our commitment to enriching lives through technology remains at the core of everything we do. This report reflects the progress we’re making to support our customers, employees, shareholders, vendors and communities, and the ways we’re continuing to create meaningful impact through our business.

Here’s a snapshot of what we accomplished in FY26:

  • Supported customers in saving energy and lowering costs, with approximately 147 million ENERGY STAR® certified products purchased at Best Buy since 2017 resulting in nearly $5.8 billion in expected product lifetime energy use cost savings.
  • Achieved our goal of earning TRUE Zero Waste certification for all U.S. supply chain facilities by the end of 2025.
  • Supported the causes employees care about, with more than $1.4 million in logged employee donations growing to over $1.9 million with the company match, benefiting more than 1,900 nonprofits.
  • Achieved a 74% carbon emission reduction (over 2009 baseline), compared to our goal to reach a 75% reduction by 2030 and be carbon neutral by 2040.
  • Evolved the Best Buy Foundation strategy to focus on expanding economic mobility for young people, helping them build skills, experiences and professional networks for future careers.
