Luke Motschenbacher is the executive vice president and chief retail and services officer for Best Buy Co. Inc. He is responsible for overseeing all stores in the U.S., as well as the services that together help create the right customer experiences.
He has been at Best Buy for more than 20 years, starting as an intern in 2004. During that time, he has managed and developed strategic relationships and led a variety of merchandising teams across categories and industries. Prior to his current role, he served as president of retail.
Luke sits on the Executive Board of the Consumer Technology Association. He also serves as a board member/trustee at the Minnesota Zoo.
He received both a bachelor’s degree and MBA from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota.
