Believing is Seeing: Inside Best Buy’s bold new RGB TV marketing campaign

RGB LED TVs represent the biggest advancement in TV technology in more than a decade — and Best Buy is making sure customers can experience that difference firsthand. 

As the only national retailer where customers can see and shop RGB LED TVs from the leading TV brands, Best Buy is launching a new marketing campaign, Believing is Seeing. The campaign brings RGB LED technology to life across TV spots, influencers, partnerships and every customer touchpoint. It’s designed to help customers discover the next evolution of home entertainment and experience the power of RGB LED TVs firsthand at Best Buy.

We built this campaign around a simple insight: when customers see it in person, the difference is undeniable,” said Marty Senn, chief creative officer at Best Buy. “Every element of our creative is designed to bring that innovation to life — making it clear that the future of TV isn’t coming soon, it’s already here at Best Buy.” 

New campaign shows the power of seeing RGB LED TVs in person 

RGB LED TVs deliver a major leap forward in lifelike color and brightness. To bring that to life, Best Buy partnered with leading brands — Samsung, Sony, LG, TCL and Hisense — to create a full-funnel campaign that inspires customers to experience the difference in person. 

The campaign includes multiple ad spots across TV, digital and social that feature some of the world’s most colorful creatures, highlighting the full spectrum and vibrancy of RGB technology. In each spot, customers react in real time to the striking visuals with surprise and awe — reinforcing this is the type of breakthrough in TV technology you need to experience at Best Buy.

Creative as bold as the technology 

RGB LED TVs deliver nearly 100% of the visible color spectrum compared to roughly 65% from traditional TVs. To visually represent this leap, the campaign introduces a bold, flowing ribbon of color that appears across creative touchpoints — representing the full spectrum and impact of RGB LED technology — on digital ads, landing pages, in-store signage and window displays. 

“The colors on these TVs are incredible and seeing them in person is truly a game-changer. That’s really what inspired the team and the creative direction — experiencing the colorful animals and demo imagery playing on the RGB TVs. Bringing that vibrant picture to life through the same demo experiences our customers see in our stores led us to the idea: let the animals and the screens speak for themselves.” 

Exclusive Supergirl  content and sweepstakes on Samsung RGB TVs at Best Buy  

In anticipation of the upcoming June “Supergirl ” release, Best Buy and Samsung are bringing a one-of-a-kind in-store experience to more than 600 Best Buy stores nationwide. From now through July 19, Samsung Micro RGB TVs will reveal a hidden riddle that shoppers can solve, creating a unique interactive moment. The answer to the riddle will unlock 10 additional entries for shoppers to enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win prizes — including a trip to the Warner Bros. Archives, Samsung Micro RGB TVs and more.

On July 6, creators @lifewithcina, @brookelmason and @itsandrewbond will share YouTube Shorts highlighting their firsthand experiences, favorite features and why they’re excited about this next generation of TV technology. 
  • YouTube content: Shoppers can explore Best Buy’s YouTube channel to learn more about RGB LED technology, and compare the different features from all the top brands.  
  • RGB Hub on BestBuy.com: A one-stop destination to explore everything RGB — from more on how the technology works to its breakthrough color, brightness and clarity benefits.
