This holiday season, Best Buy Drops is giving customers the opportunity to get their hands on exciting product releases, limited runs, launches and serious savings — all in real time. But you’ll need to act fast because each Drop is only available in limited quantities and exclusively through the Best Buy App.
Drops will include special products and deals from a variety of categories, including gaming consoles and accessories, wearable devices, e-transportation products, small appliances, smart home, toys, and much more. The first Drop goes live on Sept. 27, with multiple drops coming nearly every week.

Here are three helpful tips to get ready for Best Buy Drops:
Tip #1: Download the free Best Buy Mobile App on any smart device (available on iOS and Android). If you already have the app, make sure you’ve completed the latest update.
Tip #2: Check out upcoming Drops. Look for the Drops arrow on the navigation bar on the bottom of the app home screen. You can see a preview of the product releases or deals landing within the next week.
Tip #3: Opt-in to Drop Alerts on the app for your favorite items. We’ll send you a push notification shortly before the drops you’re interested in go live.
Now that you’re ready, it’s time to shop!
Remember, once a drop goes live, it will only be available while inventory remains. And of course, My Best Buy Plus™ and My Best Buy Total™ members get access to even deeper discounts on select drops.
