Geek Squad is going back to school with a purpose in suburban Minneapolis.
The first-ever Geek Squad Technology Hub opened this week at Edina High School, and it will be staffed by an Agent for four hours each week who will triage devices, analyze tech problems and educate teachers and students about technology.
“Most of the youngsters in this building have grown up with technology, so they know how it works,” said Butch Cavello, a Geek Squad vice president. “What we want to do is enhance that experience to ensure they are getting the most out of their tech, and maybe they’ll teach us a thing or two.
