For those looking to get their hands on one of the most anticipated new smart TVs – the time is almost here.
The Toshiba 4K Ultra HD Smart TV – Fire TV Edition, announced last month by both Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos and Best Buy chairman and CEO Hubert Joly, is now available for pre-order on BestBuy.com and from Best Buy as a third-party seller on Amazon.com. The new TVs, available exclusively from Best Buy, will be available for sale in all Best Buy stores, on BestBuy.com and from Best Buy on Amazon.com in late June.
The new Fire TV Edition Toshiba TVs are available in three sizes (43-inch, 50-inch and 55-inch) in 4K Ultra HD resolution. All televisions come with the Fire TV experience built-in, bringing together live over-the-air TV and all your favorite streaming channels on one, easy-to-view home screen, all controlled with the Voice Remote with Alexa.
A few more favorite features in the new Toshiba 4K TVs – Fire TV Edition:
- Fire TV has tens of thousands of channels, apps and Alexa skills, as well as more than 500,000 movies and TV episodes. Quickly search for, browse and watch live over-the-air TV and massive selection of movies and TV shows from Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, HBO, and more—all without having to switch inputs.
- Use the Voice Remote with Alexa to control the TV—plus, easily launch apps, search for TV shows, play music, control smart home devices, and more, using just your voice.
- Pair Fire TV with any Echo device and use your voice for easy hands-free control with Alexa – including turning on/off your TV, changing channels, adjusting volume, switching inputs, launching apps, dimming the lights, and more.
- The TV keeps getting smarter with new Alexa skills, new and updated apps and automatic over-the-air software updates.
The 43-inch model will be available for $329.99, 50-inch for $399.99, and 55-inch for $479.99. Additional Fire TV Edition models from Toshiba and Insignia will be released later this year.
