Mother’s Day
Mother’s Day might look a little different this year because of social distancing.

We’re sending virtual hugs and thank yous to all the moms, grandmas, aunts and other special people in our lives. Happy Mother’s Day!
From drive-by birthday parties to Zoom weddings, many celebrations are looking different as we adapt to life in a pandemic. And with Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and graduations right around the corner, we’ll soon be commemorating more holidays and life events apart from our loved ones.
Thankfully, there are plenty of innovative ways to spend the day together — separately. Technology plays an important role in keeping us connected for life’s big moments.

This year, Mother’s Day is going to be celebrated a little differently, adding to the challenge of how to make all the mother figures in our lives feel extra special at home or from a safe distance.
Under these unique circumstances, many of us are finding innovative ways to virtually connect and are heading online to find a gift that expresses love and appreciation for the mom who already has it all or doesn’t want anything.
Whether you live in a different city or under the same roof, here are some tools and tech gadgets that will make Mom’s life easier year-around.
Mother’s Day is right around the corner, and people are expected to dish out more cash than ever for that special gift.
According to the National Retail Federation, Americans will spend an average of $172 on mom this year, up nearly $10 from last year and the most in the survey’s 12-year history. Total spending is expected to reach $21.2 billion — with almost $2 billion of that being consumer electronics.
As more consumers are looking beyond chocolates and flowers, Best Buy has a great mix of lasting gifts based on what Mom likes to do best.
