08 Mar: Best Buy makes Barron’s 100 Most Sustainable Companies list for 6th time

Best Buy is proud to be named as one of Barron’s 100 Most Sustainable U.S. Companies for the sixth year in a row.   

This year, we’re the top-ranked retailer, coming in at No. 7. We’ve ranked in the Top 10 since the list came out in 2018.

Barron’s looks at the 1,000 largest publicly held companies in the U.S. and ranks them on more than 230 performance indicators. This includes workplace diversity, carbon reduction, how companies performed for key stakeholders, community engagement and more.

(Mar. 7, 2023) Atrium Health and Best Buy Health are combining their strengths to develop new hospital at home offerings that will enhance the patient experience of receiving hospital-level care in the home. The goal of the partnership is to enable providers to deliver high-quality care to patients in the comfort of their own homes, while helping reduce emotional and financial burdens on patients and caregivers.

This partnership takes advantage of Atrium Health’s leadership position in telemedicine, including a well-established hospital at home program, combined with a patient population of nearly 3 million people.

06 Mar: Best Buy Ads launches My Ads, a self-service campaign management platform

Best Buy Ads, Best Buy’s retail media network, is launching a self-service campaign platform called My Ads, that will make it easier than ever for brand and agency partners to purchase, plan, view and manage select campaigns.

Currently in pilot with seven partners, My Ads will initially offer self-service reporting for Onsite Display and Sponsored Products campaigns – meaning near real-time data from these campaigns will live on the My Ads platform. It will give partners detailed insights on their existing campaigns, as well as the option to view and download campaign results based on adjustable criteria like time, products, and campaign placements.

01 Mar: Teen Tech Center donation campaign is back for 3rd year

We’re excited to announce that for the third year, Best Buy customers will be able to join us in our mission to help teens build brighter futures through technology.  

The main way we do this is by supporting the Best Buy Teen Tech Center® program, an initiative of the Best Buy Foundation. The program provides tools, training and mentorship so young people can discover their passions and pursue career and education goals.  

Starting March 1, customers who make purchases in Best Buy stores, online, or on the app will be able to add a donation to the Best Buy Foundation in support of Teen Tech Centers.

08 Feb: First Teen Tech Center in North Carolina opens in Charlotte

Youth in Charlotte, N.C., will now have access to cutting-edge technology and training with the opening of the first Best Buy Teen Tech Center® in the state.

The Teen Tech Center, a program of the Best Buy Foundation, will be housed at the YMCA of Greater Charlotte and powered by Charlotte-based Atrium Health, a nonprofit health system. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Best Buy Teen Tech Center program, making Charlotte the 52nd center to join the growing network across the country.

This month, Best Buy Teen Tech Center® members from across the country will see their original artwork on display across a new line of PopSockets PlantCore™ grips. The collection features twenty-two phone grips, designed by teens, that are exclusively available online.

Through the Best Buy Foundation design program, youth worked alongside PopSockets professional mentors to create their very own PlantCore™ grip, an expanding and collapsing plant-based phone grip that functions as a stand and provides drop protection.

For the new capsule, teen members of the program were asked to center their creativity and design ideas around what “building brighter futures” means to them.
