At Best Buy, we aim to create an inclusive culture where everyone feels welcome and accepted, and not just during Pride Month in June. It’s a year-round commitment.

Our efforts to raise awareness and support for LGBTQIA+ employees and people in the communities we serve has not gone unnoticed. For the 15th year, we scored 100% on the Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index.

Earning this distinction makes us a “Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality.” The index benchmarks and reports on how companies are helping to achieve workplace equality for LGBTQIA+ employees.

Today, we’ve landed a top spot on the annual Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Corporate Equality Index, achieving a perfect rating of 100 and earning the designation as a “Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality” for the 13th year.

Released annually, HRC’s Corporate Equality Index benchmarks and reports on how corporate policies and practices are helping to achieve LGBTQ workplace equality.

Best Buy has landed a top spot on the annual Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Corporate Equality Index, achieving a perfect rating of 100 and earning the designation as a Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality for the 12th year. Released annually, the index benchmarks and reports on how corporate policies and practices are helping to achieve LGBT workplace equality. The index now includes U.S. and Mexico businesses.

This latest recognition further affirms Best Buy’s support for LGBT equality and commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive employee base, which are fundamental to the company’s own success.

18 Nov: Best Buy Makes ‘Best Places to Work’ List for LGBT Equality

Best Buy has received a perfect “100” rating and earned a place on the “Best Places to Work” list on The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation’s annual Corporate Equality Index.

It’s a recognition the company has now received 11 times.

The index provides in-depth analysis and ratings of large U.S. companies, taking into account the employers’ policies and practices put in place for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender employees.

Best Buy has several teams that contribute to attracting employees and supporting a diverse and inclusive workforce, including the PRIDE Employee Business Network (EBN), the Diversity & Inclusion Team and Human Resources.
